We report the successful application of single pass albumin dialysis (SPAD) and hemoadsorption (HA) in two teenagers with amlodipine poisoning. A 16-year-old girl with amlodipine overdose developed refractory shock and lactic acidosis despite multiple inotropes, calcium, insulin, and glucagon infusion. SPAD was initiated 18 h after the incident for 21 h.

Method: In this single-centre retrospective study, the virological readouts of adenovirus (AdV), influenza virus A (IAV), influenza virus B (IBV), parainfluenza viruses (PIV) 1, 2, 3, 4, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and coupled enterovirus and rhinovirus (EV/RV) were extracted from the respiratory specimens of paediatric patients in Hong Kong from January 2015 to February 2024. Background: Chronic limb-threatening ischaemia (CLTI) is an advanced and severe form of lower limb peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and can pose significant challenges in clinical management. Not all patients are able to undergo surgical intervention due to patient-related and disease-related factors.

This video article presents a case study of a 70-year-old male with medically refractory essential tremor treated with magnetic resonance-guided focused ultrasound (MRgFUS). Following an initial successful ablation of the right thalamus, the patient underwent left-sided thalamotomy. After two tractography-guided sonications, the authors observed a significant reduction in his right-hand tremor with no immediate side effects.
