Effectively controlling exciton-polaritons is crucial for advancing them in optical computation. In this work, we propose utilizing the valley-selective optical Stark effect (OSE) as an all-optical way to achieve the spatiotemporal control of polariton flow. We demonstrate the polarization-selective concentration of polaritons at pre-determined locations by wavefront shaping of the polaritons through an in-plane bar-code potential induced by the OSE, which helps overcome the intra-cavity disorder in potential distribution.

Liver disease diagnosis is pivotal for effective patient management, and machine learning techniques have shown promise in this domain. In this study, we investigate the impact of Polynomial-SHapley Additive exPlanations analysis on enhancing the performance and interpretability of machine learning models for liver disease classification. Our results demonstrate significant improvements in accuracy, precision, recall, F1_score, and Matthews correlation coefficient across various algorithms when polynomial- SHapley Additive exPlanations analysis is applied.

After the discovery of insulin, a century ago, extensive work has been done to unravel the molecular network regulating insulin secretion. Here we performed a chemical screen and identified AZD7762, a compound that potentiates glucose-stimulated insulin secretion (GSIS) of a human β cell line, healthy and type 2 diabetic (T2D) human islets and primary cynomolgus macaque islets. In vivo studies in diabetic mouse models and cynomolgus macaques demonstrated that AZD7762 enhances GSIS and improves glucose tolerance.
