Consequently, the number of quality control items and required personnel have also increased. However, differences in the proportion of qualified personnel to irradiation techniques have caused bias in quality control systems among institutions.

Estimating the Emotional Information in Japanese Songs Using Search Engines.

Several studies have shown that music can reduce unpleasant emotions. Based on the results of this research, several systems have been proposed to suggest songs that match the emotions of the audience. As a part of the system, we aim to develop a method that can infer the emotional value of a song from its Japanese lyrics with higher accuracy, by applying the technology of inferring the emotions expressed in sentences.

Direct puncture of an occluded common femoral artery as a new approach for endovascular aortic aneurysm repair.

Background: Abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) which present with a hostile access are not uncommon. When an arterial occlusion continuously involves from the iliac to the femoropopliteal artery, endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) can become complex, necessitating an adjunctive surgical procedure.
