Postoperative adhesion around nerves sometimes results in sensory and motor dysfunctions. To prevent these disorders, we have developed an electrospun nanofiber sheet incorporating methylcobalamin (MeCbl), an active form of vitamin B12 with anti-inflammatory and neuroregenerative effects. This study aimed to investigate the neuroprotective effects of MeCbl sheets against postoperative adhesion and to compare the effects of MeCbl sheets with those of porcine small intestinal submucosa (SIS) sheets using a rat sciatic nerve adhesion model.

This study aimed to assess the impact of institutional experience on the plan quality of HA-SRT for both single and multiple brain metastases.
Materials And Methods: Twenty patients who underwent HA-SRT for single metastasis between 2020 and 2021 comprised the earlier group, while those treated between 2022 and 2024 constituted the later group.
Background: The prognosis of patients with synchronous oligometastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has been improving owing to advancements in imaging techniques and new treatment approaches such as tyrosine kinase inhibitors. This study aimed to investigate the long-term outcomes, including the clinical course after recurrence, of patients with synchronous oligometastatic NSCLC with only brain metastases, treated with bifocal treatment.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 22 patients with clinical T1-4 and N0-1 NSCLC with synchronous brain metastases who were diagnosed by preoperative PET/CT and brain CT or MRI and underwent pulmonary resection for the primary site and surgery or radiation therapy for brain metastases at our institution from 2005 to 2019.

The Gram-negative bacterium is a serious shrimp pathogen. Here, we present the genome sequence of TUMSAT-2019, which was isolated from a kuruma shrimp () that originated from a shrimp farm in Okinawa Prefecture. The assembly totaled 5.
