Multi-sector partnerships are core in efforts to improve population health but are often not as fully developed or positioned to advance health and equity in their communities as believed to be. Therefore, measuring the collaborations multi-sector partnerships undertake is important to document the inputs, processes, and outcomes that evolve as they work together towards achieving their goals, which ultimately creates a greater sense of shared accountability. In this study we present the development and validation of the Assessment for Advancing Community Transformation (AACT), a new tool designed to measure readiness to advance health and health equity.

Pediatric low-grade gliomas (LGGs) are found in approximately 1-3% of patients with childhood epilepsy that is often medically refractory. Magnetic resonance guided laser interstitial thermal therapy (MRgLITT) is a minimal access technique FDA-approved since 2007 to ablate soft tissue lesions including brain tumors and seizure foci in children. The authors describe the case of an 11-year-old boy who presented with focal right-sided seizures and was found to have a growing left insular mass determined to be a WHO grade II diffuse astrocytoma.

Purpose/objective: To describe the Teen Online Problem Solving-Teen Only (TOPS-TO) intervention relative to the original Teen Online Problem Solving-Family (TOPS-F) intervention, to describe a randomized controlled trial to assess intervention efficacy, and to report feasibility and acceptability of the TOPS-TO intervention. Research method and design: This is a multisite randomized controlled trial, including 152 teens (49 TOPS-F, 51 TOPS-TO, 52 IRC) between the ages of 11-18 who were hospitalized for a moderate to severe traumatic brain injury in the previous 18 months. Assessments were completed at baseline, 6-months post baseline, and 12-months post baseline.

Objective: Although adolescents with ADHD report less driving experience, a greater proportion of adolescents with ADHD report receiving at least one ticket; however, no study has examined the severity of infractions committed by adolescent drivers with ADHD.

Method: A total of 61 adolescents (28 ADHD, 33 controls) aged 16 to 17 with a valid driver's license completed a self-report Driving History Questionnaire (DHQ), which asked about months of driving experience, negative driving outcomes, and severity of consequences.

Results: A greater proportion of adolescents with ADHD reported receiving fines, points on their driver's license, and remedial driving class.
