[Clinico-roentgenological characteristics of thromboembolism of the pulmonary arteries in patients with rheumatism].

The authors have analyzed 31 patients (10.2% of the total number of patients with rheumatic fever) to reveal the clinical and roentgenological signs of thromboembolism of the pulmonary arteries. Conditions for the development of pulmonary thromboembolism, peculiarities of its clinical picture and course have been described; attention has been drawn to the roentgenological signs of pulmonary occlusion.
