Values associated with Nordic Walking: An international cross-sectional survey among individuals practicing walking with poles.

Introduction: The article is devoted to the sociological exploration of the social phenomenon that Nordic Walking has become in Europe and worldwide over the recent decades.

Aim: It is based on the results of original international sociological research study on the issue of sociodemographic profiles of Nordic Walkers in the context of the values associated with this sports activity.

Methods: A cross-sectional quantitative study with convenience sampling study was performed among 416 Poles, 132 Europeans from 11 countries (Germany, the UK, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Ireland, Denmark, Austria, Sweden, and Norway), and 212 participants from 5 non-European countries (the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan).

Adaptation and validation of a quarter-of-life crisis questionnaire - The Developmental Crisis Questionnaire (DCQ-12).

Objectives: The aim of this article is to introduce the Polish adaptation of the Developmental Crisis Questionnaire (DCQ-12). In Poland, there is currently no tool for measuring the quarterlife crisis, hindering empirical exploration and cognitive understanding of this phenomenon. The DCQ-12, developed by Petrov and colleagues, serves as an age-independent measure of adult developmental crisis for research and applied purposes.

Professional values, ethical climate and job satisfaction of nurses and their selected sociodemographic and occupational characteristics.

Aim: To explore the relationship of selected socio-demographic and occupational characteristics of nurses and their level of professional values, hospital ethical climate and job satisfaction.

Methods: Cross-sectional study was conducted among 388 Polish nurses from the spring of 2021 to winter of 2023, in the eastern part of Poland; and followed by Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology (STROBE) guidelines. Four research tools were used to collect data together with questionnaire for socio-demographic and occupational characteristics.

Clinical Factors Affecting the Quality of Life of Women With Endometriosis.

Aim: The study aimed to analyse selected clinical data affecting the quality of life of women with endometriosis.

Design: A cross-sectional study.

Method: The study was conducted in 2020-2022 among 425 women with endometriosis receiving health care.

Design and validation of a questionnaire to measure the attitudes of health professionals towards immigrants (AHPI).

Objective: The aim of the article is to describe the validation process of a research tool used to measure the intensity and direction of medical personnel's attitudes towards immigrant patients.

Design: An instrument validation design with a cross-sectional survey was conducted. The validation process was carried out in two phases.
