While there has been some research centering trans* and gender non-conforming (TGNC) faculty, more is needed to address how they navigate classroom spaces and students' resistance to and about trans* bodies. The purpose of this study was to examine the resistance TGNC educators experienced from students, colleagues, as well as their larger higher education institutions. Findings from this study suggest that TGNC faculty simotaneously experinece hypervisibility and invisiblity both in their classrooms as well as on their campuses.

Aims: To evaluate the potential efficacy, safety and tolerability of aleglitazar as monotherapy or add-on therapy to metformin or to a sulphonylurea (either alone or in combination with metformin).

Methods: We conducted a pooled analysis of data from three randomized phase III clinical trials of aleglitazar in patients with type 2 diabetes (n = 591). The three studies focused on: (i) aleglitazar alone; (ii) aleglitazar and metformin; and (iii) aleglitazar and sulphonylurea with or without metformin.

The X-linked deafness syndrome is characterised by a complex labyrinth malformation with a shortened cochlea with missing bony separation between the cochlea and internal auditory canal and a deviant route of the facial nerve. Cochlear implant surgery in this malformation may be complicated by an unintended electrode insertion into the internal auditory canal. The authors report a new surgical approach: intraoperative three dimensional-volume tomography (3D-VT)-based navigation and direct intraoperative control by 3D-VT.
