Introduction: The positive impact of youth sport on physical, mental and social health has been highlighted in several research which reinforces further investigations concerning the reasons for dropout of athletes. As one of the most emergent difficulties in youth sports is to prevent athletes from dropping out, it is important to explore what factors play important part in this process. Methods: This retrospective observational study included 65 cases of outpatient hysteroscopic fibroid resection performed between March 2021 and May 2023 in outpatient office setting. Patients aged 18-50 with various indications such as infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, or abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) were included.
Aim: This study aims to evaluate the diagnostic challenges and molecular aspects of pediatric gliomas, among the most common brain tumors in children, focusing on improving early detection and personalized treatment strategies.
Methods: We conducted a comprehensive review of recent literature, examining current diagnostic techniques, including imaging and histopathological analysis, alongside molecular profiling methods such as next-generation sequencing (NGS) and methylation profiling.
Results: The findings highlight significant diagnostic challenges due to the heterogeneity of pediatric gliomas.
Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), antigens, and antigen-presenting cells drain from the central nervous system (CNS) into lymphatic vessels near the cribriform plate and dura, yet the role of these vessels during stroke is unclear. Using a mouse model of ischemic stroke, transient middle cerebral artery occlusion (tMCAO), we demonstrate stroke-induced lymphangiogenesis near the cribriform plate, peaking at day 7 and regressing by day 14. Lymphangiogenesis is restricted to the cribriform plate and deep cervical lymph nodes and is regulated by VEGF-C/VEGFR-3 signaling.
