Background: The present study assessed the impact of thermomechanical aging on the marginal fit of hybrid ceramic, reinforced composite resin, and lithium disilicate ceramic.

Methods: Eighteen human upper first premolars freshly extracted for orthodontic purposes were used to fabricate 18 CAD-CAM veneers and divided into three groups based on materials used: group H (n=6): hybrid ceramics (Vita Enamic), group R (n=6): reinforced composite resin (Brilliant crios), and group L (n=6): lithium disilicate ceramic (IPS e-max CAD). Each material's cementation procedure was carried out according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Background: Insufficient information exists regarding the fracture resistance and failure pattern of newly developed zirconia-reinforced lithium disilicate (ZL, Vita Ambria) onlays. This in vitro study compared the fracture resistance of two types of onlays: monolithic lithium disilicate (LD) and monolithic ZL.

Water quality deterioration hinders economic and social development in developing countries that are facing freshwater security and shortages. Based on the collection of 29 water samples, this study focused on the relationship between sewage treatment plant and groundwater system surrounding it using multidisciplinary approach that combines the characterization of groundwater system and its connection with surrounding canal and drains, using chemical and isotopic characterization revealing that there is a direct relation between the surface water system and surrounding groundwater system. About 58% of the groundwater samples and all surface water samples in the investigated area are threatened by high concentrations of trace elements.

In this manuscript, we report the simple method to multifunctional wool fiber surfaces. The multifunctional wool fibers were devised with brilliant coloration, antimicrobial activity, and UV-protection property. These multifunctional properties were progressed by in situ assemble of silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) into the wool fiber surface using green cleaner one-pot route.
