We present a new, to the best of our knowledge, approach for self-heterodyne optical frequency comb (OFC) spectroscopy in which a single Mach-Zehnder modulator is utilized to generate both an optical frequency comb and a frequency-shifted local oscillator. This method allows for coherent, time-domain averaging to be performed without the need for feedback mechanisms or software corrections. As an initial demonstration, we have measured acetylene rovibrational transition frequencies with coherently averaged comb spectra.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA parallel Hilbert transform arctangent phase demodulation (PHT-ATAN) method based on overlapping computation is proposed for phase demodulation of laser heterodyne Doppler vibrometers. The method suppresses the end point effects by utilizing overlapping computation and data concatenation and accelerates phase demodulation through parallel processing. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate that when the algorithm's parallelism is ≥4, the computation speed of this method increases by over 100% compared to traditional methods, while maintaining the signal-to-noise ratio and accuracy of the phase demodulation results.

Here, novel electrohydrodynamically printed InterPore microfibrous lattices with anisotropic architectures are introduced to promote high-density cellular alignment and enhanced tissue interconnectivity. The interconnected pores in the microfibrous lattice enable dynamic, cell-mediated remodeling of fibrous hydrogels, resulting in continuous, mechanically stable tissue bundles.

The levels of biogenesis of lysosome organelles complex 1 subunit 1 (BLOC1S1) control mitochondrial and endolysosome organelle homeostasis and function. Reduced fidelity of these vacuolar organelles is increasingly being recognized as important in instigating cell-autonomous immune cell activation. We reasoned that exploring the role of BLOC1S1 in CD4 T cells, may further advance our understanding of regulatory events linked to mitochondrial and/or endolysosomal function in adaptive immunity.
