The primary cilium is a paradigmatic subcellular compartment at the nexus of numerous cellular and morphogenetic pathways. The tubby family protein TULP3 acts as an adapter of the intraflagellar transport complex A in transporting integral membrane and membrane-associated lipidated proteins into cilia. However, the mechanisms by which TULP3 coordinates ciliary transport of diverse cargoes is not well understood.

In this investigator-initiated, randomized, controlled trial conducted in Europe and Canada, HBeAg-negative patients treated with NA > 12 months, with HBVDNA < 200 IU/mL, were enrolled. Patients were randomized 2:1 to 48 weeks of PEG-IFN alfa-2a add-on (180 μg per week) or continued NA-monotherapy with subsequent follow-up to Week 72.

Indonesia faces a major challenge in which different guidelines regarding the management of this condition were present. This study aimed to compare the existing guidelines regarding prevention, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring in order to create the best recommendation for a new hyperbilirubinemia guideline in Indonesia.

Study Design: We included 59 patients from the Early vs Late Ventricular Intervention Study from 4 participating centers. VV was manually segmented in 209 3-dimensional ultrasound scans and estimated from 2-dimensional ultrasound linear measurements in a total of 1226 ultrasounds.
