Objectives: To evaluate post-operative semicircular canal function in patients with non-vestibular schwannoma (VS) cerebellopontine angle (CPA) tumors by video Head Impulse Test (vHIT).
Methods: Fourteen patients with non-VS CPA tumors who underwent surgery. The gain in vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) was examined pre- and post-operatively for the semicircular canals in patients with non-VS CPA tumors.
Semiconducting single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) are significantly attractive for thermoelectric generators (TEGs), which convert thermal energy into electricity via the Seebeck effect. This is because the characteristics of semiconducting SWCNTs are perfectly suited for TEGs as self-contained power sources for sensors on the Internet of Things (IoT). However, the thermoelectric performances of the SWCNTs should be further improved by using the power sources.

RCPhC1, synthesized under animal component-free conditions, was explored for its potential to support the human-specific stroma associated with tumor growth. PDTX models were established using resected colorectal cancer liver metastasis specimens, and stromal cell populations from humans and mice were compared using three scaffolds: No scaffold (control), Matrigel and recombinant human collagen type I, across two passages.

Although most children with Wolff-Parkinson-White pattern are asymptomatic, initial symptoms may include syncope or sudden death, necessitating accurate diagnosis and management. Delta waves can also indicate a fasciculoventricular pathway, which poses no risk and does not require management.
