Background Investigation of the safety and efficacy of phacoemulsification with trabecular microbypass Stent W implantation in patients with primary angle-closure glaucoma (PACG). Methods Between August and December of 2023, this prospective study evaluated PACG patients who underwent phacoemulsification with iStent inject W implantation. All patients were 18 years and older and were monitored for 6 months after surgery.

The predictors for the worsening/improvement of EGV after SVR with DAA therapy were investigated.
Methods: Of the cirrhosis patients who achieved SVR with DAA therapy, 328 patients who underwent endoscopic examinations both before and after DAA therapy were enrolled.
Background Recent guidelines recommend dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) for six months following percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in patients with chronic coronary disease, as unexpected hospitalization can trigger DAPT discontinuation. This study evaluated the predictive factors for unexpected hospitalization within six months after PCI in patients with chronic coronary disease. Methods This prospective multicenter study included 412 patients who underwent PCI for chronic coronary disease.

We aimed to examine the association between dementia and functional decline after cancer treatment in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
Materials And Methods: A total of 30,213 patients aged 65 years or older hospitalized for NSCLC treatment, from a dataset of 366 acute care hospitals in Japan, were eligible for this study.
Hand gesture recognition based on sparse multichannel surface electromyography (sEMG) still poses a significant challenge to deployment as a muscle-computer interface. Many researchers have been working to develop an sEMG-based hand gesture recognition system. However, the existing system still faces challenges in achieving satisfactory performance due to ineffective feature enhancement, so the prediction is erratic and unstable.
