Background: Medication nonadherence is a major risk factor for suboptimal or failed hypertension pharmacologic therapy.
Objective: To determine the nonadherence rate to antihypertensive medications using high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) and the self-reported Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS).
Methods: This study used a prospective cross-sectional cohort design.
Nanomaterials have evolved into the most useful resources in all spheres of life. Their small size imparts them with unique properties and they can also be designed and engineered according to the specific need. The use of nanoparticles (NPs) in medicine is particularly quite revolutionary as it has opened new therapeutic avenues to diagnose, treat and manage diseases in an efficient and timely manner.

This case report examines the clinical diagnosis approach of ASD in children under two years, emphasizing motor developmental delay, chromosome 19 mutations, prematurity, macrocephaly, and false-negative Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers (MCHAT) results. This study identifies gross motor delays as a potential key indicator in the diagnosis of ASD, as all five cases (Patients A, B, C, D, and E) were observed to have such deficits.

The activation of these protooncogenes in prostate cancer is still under investigation. The aim of this work was to study EGFR, HER2- neu, inactive (non-phosphorylated) and active (phosphorylated) ERK expression in prostatic adenocarcinomas in correlation to the clinical and pathological parameters.

This definition leads to an in-depth study of the bidirectional relationships between hepatic steatosis, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM), Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) and/or their complications. Lifestyle modification, which includes correct nutrition combined with regular physical activity, represents the therapeutic cornerstone of MAFLD.
