Objectives: With the increase in illicit fentanyl use in the USA, hospitals face challenges managing opioid withdrawal and opioid use disorder (OUD). To improve opioid withdrawal and OUD treatment among hospitalized patients with daily fentanyl use, we developed a rapid methadone titration (RMT) protocol. We describe development, implementation, and outcomes during the first 12 weeks.

Here, we report Nextflow-root (nf-root), a novel best-practice pipeline for deep-learning-based analysis of fluorescence microscopy images of plant root tissue from A. thaliana.

The heterogeneous interaction partners of integrins directly regulate cell adhesion, motility, proliferation, and intracellular signaling. Despite the recognized importance of protein-protein interactions and the formation of signaling hubs around integrins, the ability to detect and quantify these dynamic binding partners with high spatial and temporal resolution remains challenging.

The study examines how SN13-modulated OsNAM2 enhances salt tolerance in Arabidopsis through physiological, biochemical, and molecular analyses. Overexpression of OsNAM2, especially with SN13 inoculation, improves germination, seedling growth, root length, and biomass under high NaCl concentrations compared to wild-type plants, indicating a synergistic effect.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTwo principal growth regulators, cytokinins and ethylene, are known to interact in the regulation of plant growth. However, information about the underlying molecular mechanism and positional specificity of cytokinin/ethylene crosstalk in the control of root growth is scarce. We have identified the spatial specificity of cytokinin-regulated root elongation and root apical meristem (RAM) size, both of which we demonstrate to be dependent on ethylene biosynthesis.
