Biosurfactant based biostimulants plays a vital role in agriculture filed by enhancing the soil quality, promote plant growth, and eliminate plant pathogens, and increasing nutrient uptake. This manuscript describes the synthesis of trimesic based lithocholic ester functionalized amphiphiles (TMLCEA) with oppositely charged head groups using thiol-yne click chemistry, which is an effective and simple approach. The trimesic based lithocholic ester functionalized zwitterionic penicillamine (TMLCEPA), cationic cysteamine·HCl (TMLCECy), and anionic thiomalic acid (TMLCETM) exhibited hierarchically self-assembled microstructures from below to above the CMC.

Diamond as a templating substrate is largely unexplored, and the unique properties of diamond, including its large bandgap, thermal conductance, and lack of cytotoxicity, makes it versatile in emergent technologies in medicine and quantum sensing. Surface termination of an inert diamond substrate and its chemical reactivity are key in generating new bonds for nucleation and growth of an overlayer material. Oxidized high-pressure high temperature (HPHT) nanodiamonds (NDs) are largely terminated by alcohols that act as nucleophiles to initiate covalent bond formation when an electrophilic reactant is available.

Introduction: Patients with cirrhosis undergoing liver transplantation frequently exhibit systemic inflammation, coagulation derangements, and edema, indicating endothelial dysfunction. This syndrome may worsen after ischemia-reperfusion injury of the liver graft, coincident with organ dysfunction that worsens patient outcomes. Little is known about changes in endothelial permeability during liver transplantation.

A highly flexible and cost-effective copper tape decorated with silver nanoparticles (Cu-TAg) has been developed for surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) sensing of multi-hazardous environmental pollutants. Highly ordered and spherical-shaped silver nanoarrays have been fabricated using a low-cost thermal evaporation method. The structural, morphological, and optical properties of Cu-TAg sensors have been studied and correlated to the corresponding SERS performances.
