Efficient cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) contributes to improved outcome after cardiac arrest. New mechanical devices improve cardiac output. We present a case-report with a male patient who was admitted after 55 minutes of out-of-hospital CPR which was followed by 45 minutes of in-hospital CPR with a mechanical device (LUCAS).

In this study we have investigated the acute effects of FK-506 on renal haemodynamics, water, sodium and lithium excretion rates and plasma levels of angiotensin II, aldosterone, atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) and vasopressin in 29 anaesthetized Lancaster/Yorkshire female pigs. A continuous intravenous infusion was given over a 2-h period to 4 groups: A: 0.

Three different dosages were given over a 1-hr period: dose A, 0.1 mg/kg (n = 8); dose B, 0.
