Deficiencies in inhibitory control are one of the hallmarks of attention-deficit-(hyperactivity) disorder (AD(H)D). Response inhibition demands can become increased through additional conflicts, namely when already integrated representations of perception-action associations have to be updated. Yet, the neural mechanisms of how such conflicts worsen response inhibition in AD(H)D are unknown, but, if identified, could help to better understand the complex nature of AD(H)D-associated impulsivity.

Teclistamab is a B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA)-directed bispecific T-cell engager approved for relapsed-refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM). Cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and Immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS) are well-documented treatment -related adverse events of teclistamab. The prescribing information recommends step-up dosing on days 1, 4, and 7 with 48-72 h of inpatient observation after each dose to monitor for CRS.

For ion-selective electrodes (ISEs) to be employed in wearable and implantable applications, the ion-selective membrane components should be biocompatible, and leaching of components, such as plasticizer or ionophore, out of the sensing membrane should be inhibited. To achieve this, we employed a plasticizer-free silicone as the membrane matrix and synthesized as the ionophore a derivative of the bis-crown ether based potassium ionophore BME-44, incorporating a triethoxysilyl functional group that covalently attaches to condensation-cured silicones during the curing process. Soxhlet extraction of these membranes with dichloromethane shows that up to 96% of the ionophore is attached to the silicone membrane during curing.

Monomethylamine (NHCH), dimethylamine (NH(CH)), and trimethylamine (N(CH)) are important chemical feedstocks that are produced industrially as an azeotropic mixture and must be separated using an energy-intensive thermal distillation. While solid adsorbents have been proposed as alternatives to distillation for separating various industrial gas mixtures, methylamine separations remain largely unexplored in this context. Here, we investigate two isoreticular frameworks Cu(cyhdc) (cyhdc = -1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylate) and Cu(bdc) (bdc = 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate) as prospective candidates for this challenging separation, motivated by the recent discovery that Cu(cyhdc) reversibly captures ammonia through a unique framework-to-coordination polymer phase change.

Background: Quadricepsplasty has been used for over half a century to improve range of motion (ROM) in knees with severe arthrofibrosis. Various surgical techniques for quadricepsplasty exist, including Judet and Thompson, as well as novel minimally invasive approaches. The goal of this review was to compare outcomes between quadricepsplasty techniques for knee contractures.
