Dance is physically demanding and often involves unilateral movements performed within a small base of support. Prior authors have reported that dancers use one leg preferentially over the other (ie, lower extremity asymmetry). Increased leg asymmetry-quantified using the Limb Symmetry Index (LSI), is associated with increased injury risk.

We study a loop-model realization in which Q is a continuous parameter. This model allows for the collision of a critical and a tricritical fixed point at Q=4, which then emerge as complex conformally invariant theories at Q>4, or even complex Q, for suitable complex coupling constants.

Hyperuniformity is an emergent property, whereby the structure factor of the density n scales as S(q)∼q^{α}, with α>0. We show that for the conserved directed percolation (CDP) class, to which the Manna model belongs, there is an exact mapping between the density n in CDP, and the interface position u at depinning, n(x)=n_{0}+∇^{2}u(x), where n_{0} is the conserved particle density. As a consequence, the hyperuniformity exponent equals α=4-d-2ζ, with ζ the roughness exponent at depinning, and d the dimension.

Typically, hepatocellular adenomas are solitary and are found in young women who use estrogen-containing contraceptives. The occurrence of multiple hepatocellular adenoma has been linked to higher body mass index, and as the prevalence of overweight increases, multiple hepatocellular adenomas are seen more often.

In preclinical rodent models of viral respiratory infections, however, disease is frequently evaluated based on virological, pathological and/or surrogate clinical parameters, which are not directly associated with lung function. To bridge the gap between preclinical and clinical readouts, we aimed to apply unrestrained whole-body plethysmography (WBP) measurements in a SARS-CoV-2 Syrian hamster challenge model.
