The study has demonstrated the possibility to use cyclophosphamide as a model of "impairment" agent for lung tissue cells to provide access of monoclonal antibodies to nuclear antigen structures. Biodistribution of monoclonal antibodies to various intracellular antigens was studied on Wistar rats pretreated with various doses of cyclophosphamide. Accumulation of 2C5 antibodies to cell nuclei was found to be dependent on the dose of cyclophosphamide administered.

The paper presents the results of intracavitary chemotherapy with deposited cytostatics of advanced ovarian cancer as well experimental, morphological, biochemical and pharmacological data. Intraabdominal introduction of microspheres filled with cyclophosphamide, 5-fluorouracil, doxorubicin can be a variant of drug therapy in multimodality treatment of ovarian cancer. Combination of intracavitary chemotherapy with a systemic one has the advantage of local and regional effect which is not inhibited by mediated action of the deposited cytostatics via the systemic blood flow.

The diagnosis and treatment of pseudotumors of the abdominal cavity and retroperitoneal space are discussed on the basis of 23 cases. It is pointed out that intraoperative morphological study is necessary for making a precise diagnosis. The use of the MK-14 antimicrobial glue improves the results of management of pseudotumors due to the creation of a depo of the antiseptic chlorhexidine in the abdominal cavity with simultaneous air-tightness of the wounds and hemostasis.
