The Controls Over Mesopelagic Interior Carbon Storage (COMICS) cruise DY086 took place aboard the RRS Discovery in the South Atlantic during November and December, 2017. Physical, chemical, biogeochemical and biological data were collected during three visits to ocean observatory station P3, off the coast of South Georgia, during an austral spring bloom. A diverse range of equipment including CTD-rosette, Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP), net deployments, marine snow catchers (MSCs), Stand Alone Pump System (SAPS) and PELAGRA Sediment Traps were used to produce a comprehensive, high-quality dataset.

Nsp1 in SARS-CoV-2 is a key protein that increases the virus's pathogenicity and virulence by binding to the host ribosome and blocks the 40S ribosomal subunit channel, which effectively impedes the mRNA translation as well as crippling the host immune system. Previous studies revealed that the N-terminal in Nsp1 is part and parcel of Nsp1 efficiency, and mutations in its core residues have weakened the protein's. This knowledge persuades us to carry out the in silico screening on plant compounds of Piper sarmentosum Roxb.

The vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) polymorphism is associated with preeclampsia since its abnormal expression plays an important role in vasculogenesis in placenta formation. Thus, this study is aimed at analyzing the association between VEGF +936C/T polymorphism and the risk of preeclampsia. To assess the causal relationship, a hospital-based cross-sectional analytical study was carried out among 204 Myanmar pregnant women during the period of January 2018-September 2020.

Background: Treatment of osteochondral defects (OCDs) of the knee joint remains challenging. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical and radiological results of osteochondral regeneration following intra-articular injections of autologous peripheral blood stem cells (PBSC) plus hyaluronic acid (HA) after arthroscopic subchondral drilling into OCDs of the knee joint.

Case Presentation: Five patients with OCDs of the knee joint are presented.
