Wheat is a globally cultivated cereal crop with substantial protein content present in its seeds. This research aimed to develop robust methods for predicting seed protein concentration in wheat seeds using bench-top hyperspectral imaging in the visible, near-infrared (VNIR), and shortwave infrared (SWIR) regions. To fully utilize the spectral and texture features of the full VNIR and SWIR spectral domains, a computer-vision-aided image co-registration methodology was implemented to seamlessly align the VNIR and SWIR bands.

Most studies investigate established disease; however, the initiation and early events in endometriotic lesion development remain poorly understood. Our study used neutrophils from human menstrual effluent from subjects with and without endometriosis for immunophenotyping, and a mouse model of endometriosis and a mouse endometriosis cell line to determine the role of neutrophils in the initiating events of endometriosis, including attachment and survival of minced endometrial pieces.

One gene with an excess of protein-coding variants is that also is the gene underlying the Hypotonia, Ataxia, and Delayed Development Syndrome (HADDS). In previous work, we have identified noncoding variants in an enhancer of called hs737 and further showed that there was an enrichment of deletions of this enhancer in individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders.

Clemastine fumarate, the over-the-counter antihistamine and muscarinic receptor blocker, has remyelinating potential in MS. A clemastine arm was added to an ongoing platform clinical trial TRAP-MS (NCT03109288) to identify a cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) remyelination signature and to collect safety data on clemastine in patients progressing independently of relapse activity (PIRA).
