Methods: This retrospective study analyzed the entire population of adult patients at Prince Rashid bin Al-Hussein Hospital Rehabilitation and Rheumatology Center between August and October 2023 for the purpose of screening, monitoring, diagnosing, and treating osteoporosis. The study included 328 clients suspected to have osteoporosis, selected based on criteria such as primary osteoporosis or potential secondary osteoporosis.

Genetic Algorithm Optimization of Rainfall Impact Force Piezoelectric Sensing Device, Analytical and Finite Element Investigation.

In this paper, rainfall droplet impact force is transformed into a measurable voltage signal output via the piezoelectric material direct effect utilized for sensing purposes. The motivating sensor is utilized to measure the peak impact forces of rainfall droplets for further analysis and processing. Constructing a sense for the impact force of rainfall droplets has great implications in many real-life applications that can provide vital information regarding the amplifications of the impact force of rainfall on soil erosion, and the impact on small creatures and plants, etc.

Unusual histopathological findings in appendectomy specimens with clinical diagnosis of acute appendicitis: A retrospective cohort analysis.

Introduction: While appendicitis is considered one of most common acute surgical conditions, several studies have reported abnormal histopathological findings in appendectomy specimens; however, sending all appendices to histopathology is not yet routinely done.Here we report many unusual findings. Those unusual findings played a role not only in confirming acute appendicitis as a cause of the presentation in some cases but also discovering etiologies that mimic it with great impact on its management.

Dietary and Lifestyle Factors Associated with Gastric and Pancreatic Cancers: A Case-Control Study.

Gastric cancer (GC) and pancreatic cancer (PC) are the third and seventh most likely cancers to cause death worldwide. We aimed to determine the dietary and lifestyle factors of patients with GC or PC and their associated risk among Jordanians. This case-control study enrolled 587 adults (patients with PC, 101; patients with GC, 172; healthy controls, 314) between March 2015 and August 2018, who were assessed using interview-based personal and physical activity questionnaires.

Adult intussusception : A 14-year retrospective study of clinical assessment and computed tomography diagnosis.
