Anti-gene oligonucleotides belong to a group of therapeutic compounds, which, in contrast to antisense oligonucleotides, bind to DNA. Clamp anti-gene oligonucleotides bind through a double-stranded invasion mechanism. With two arms connected by a linker, they hybridize to one of the DNA strands forming Watson-Crick and Hoogsteen hydrogen bonds.

Objectives: Concurrent type 1 diabetes (T1D) and celiac disease (CeD) pose challenges in insulin dosage adjustments and gluten-free dietary adherence. Urine testing for gluten immunogenic peptides (GIP) is a new method to detect gluten exposure within the last 3-12 h. Our aims were to compare gluten-free dietary adherence between T1D + CeD and CeD individuals and evaluate urinary GIP testing in an outpatient setting.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to describe first-line managers' (FLMs') experiences and reflections on structural conditions for management practice within hospital settings using Kanter's theory of structural empowerment.
Design/methodology/approach: A qualitative deductive approach with a descriptive design was used. Interviews were conducted with 11 FLMs in charge of medical or surgical hospital units spread across Sweden.
Background: Leadership and access to structural empowerment are known to influence the work life experiences of staff and quality of care. Knowledge about relationships between specific factors of structural empowerment, leadership and management, staff well-being and quality of care at both an individual and unit level is scarce.
Aim: To study the relationship between staff-rated access to empowering structures, leadership and management performance, well-being, and quality of care in hospital settings measured at the individual level and aggregated at the unit level.
Background: Findings regarding the protective effect of Angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs) against Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD) and cognitive decline have been inconclusive.
Methods: Individuals with hypertension who do not have any prior ADRD diagnosis were included in this retrospective cohort study from Optum's de-identified Clinformatics® Data Mart. We identified antihypertensive medication (AHM) drug classes and subclassified ARBs by blood-brain barrier (BBB) permeability.
