Compounders worldwide are responsible for ensuring that the sterile preparations they dispense are pure, potent, and safe. To achieve that result, proper cleaning and disinfection of International Organization for Standardization controlled environments must occur. Because those tasks must be performed according to established standards, the compounding pharmacist must research regulatory requirements and appropriate products for use.

The Impact of Fellowship Affiliation on Urogynecology Training in Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency.

Objective: To compare characteristics of Urogynecology training and number of "Incontinence and Pelvic Floor" cases logged between Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) residencies affiliated and those not affiliated with Urogynecology fellowships.

Design: A retrospective descriptive analysis was performed of OB/GYN residency programs, their Urogynecology training, and association with Urogynecology fellowship programs during the 2023 to 2024 academic year. Program websites for Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited OB/GYN residency programs were reviewed to determine availability, timing, and length of Urogynecology training.

Violence in the emergency department: a quantitative survey study of healthcare providers in India.

Background: Workplace violence (WPV) in Emergency Departments (EDs) is an increasingly recognized challenge healthcare providers face in low-resource settings. While studies have highlighted the increased prevalence of WPV in healthcare, most of the existing research has been conducted in developed countries with established laws and repercussions for violence against healthcare providers. More data on WPV against ED providers practicing in low-resource settings is necessary to understand these providers' unique challenges.
