Penetrating captive bolt (PCB) is an approved method of preslaughter stunning and euthanasia for cattle.

The presence of strong barriers to research participation for Black women is indisputable. However, existing evidence supports the possibility of equal levels of participation among members of minoritized populations in past breast cancer (BC) clinical trials (CTs), demonstrating that while these participation barriers undoubtedly exist but are not insurmountable. This work aims to investigate patient-provider conversations to try to illuminate how providers can better engage Black women in communication that will positively influence their perceptions of breast cancer clinical trial participation.

Agpat5 (1-acylglycerol-3-phosphate O-acyltransferase 5) is a broadly expressed lipid regulatory enzyme involved in glycerophospholipid metabolism. Multiple genetic studies in mice and humans have identified that Agpat5 is associated with plasma insulin, cholesterol, and alanine aminotransferase levels. Despite the strong genetic evidence on Agpat5, no study has investigated its liver-specific role in physiology.
