Objective: Our objectives were to (1) compare different regimens of hormonal therapy (HT) in young women with atypical endometrial hyperplasia (AEH) and early endometrial cancer (EC), (2) assess reproductive and oncologic outcomes and (3) explore possible predictors of complete response (CR) and disease free survival (DFS).
Methods: Reproductive age women with AEH and Grade 1-2 endometrioid EC with no or minimal myometrial invasion on MRI treated with different regimens of HT were prospectively analyzed. Treatment protocols included levonorgestrel intrauterine device (LNG IUD), gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (aGnRH) or high-dose oral medroxyprogesteron acetate (MPA) separately and in combinations.
This study is carried out to estimate the effect on embryo development and implantation potential performed by inevitably occurring short-term 3-day embryo culture condition disorders due to light microscopy applied for morphology parameter assay. One thousand two hundred and fifty-three IVF program results were analyzed to measure the pregnancy rate on embryo transfer and the percentage of embryos reached the blastocyst stage. In 58% of cases, on the 3rd day the quality of embryos was not evaluated ( = 730), while in 42% of cases the evaluation was done on day 3 ( = 523).

All the patients from 814 families at risk were investigated using biochemical techniques. In total, 363 patients with mucopolysaccharidoses (MPS), mucolipidoses, glycoproteinoses, sphingolipidoses and other LSD were diagnosed; 55 families at risk sought prenatal diagnosis and 67 fetuses were investigated for MPS (types I, II, IIIA and IIIB, VI), Tay-Sachs disease, Sandhoff disease, GM1-gangliosidosis, metachromatic leukodystrophy, mannosidosis, Gaucher disease and multiple sulphatidosis; 17 affected fetuses were diagnosed and aborted.

Collagens precipitated from the culture medium and intracellular collagens were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays with rabbit polyclonal monospecific antibodies. The assay could detect 10 ng protein per well, and intraassay coefficients of variation were less than 5%.
