Systemic Epstein-Barr virus-positive T-cell lymphoma of childhood (S-EBV-TCL) is a rare disease for which there is no standard of care. S-EBV-TCL is often associated with hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis and is generally thought of on the spectrum of EBV-related disease. For the few reported cases of cure in the literature, hematopoietic stem cell transplant has been required because it is the only treatment that has induced complete remission in patients suffering from EBV-associated T-cell or natural killer cell lymphoproliferative diseases, except hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis.

Methods: Ovid/MEDLINE, Embase, CENTRAL, WOS, and CINAHL were searched for articles including information about adolescent and young adult physical activity and breast cancer incidence among women carrying deleterious BRCA1 and BRCA2 gene mutations (search was initiated in October 2019; last update and full analyses were in March 2021). Independent reviewers screened articles at the title/abstract and full-text levels, resolving differences by consensus with lead authors.
Since the original description of pathogenic germline DICER1 variation underlying pleuropulmonary blastoma (PPB), the spectrum of extrapulmonary neoplasms known to be associated with DICER1 has continued to expand and now includes tumors of the ovary, thyroid, kidney, eye, and brain among other sites. This report documents our experience with another manifestation: a primitive sarcoma that resembles PPB and DICER1-associated sarcoma of the kidney. These tumors are distinguished by their unusual location in the peritoneal cavity, associated with visceral and/or parietal mesothelium.

The spectrum of this disorder can range from phenotypically normal to severe developmental delay and congenital anomalies. We describe two unrelated patients with small SRCs derived from chromosome 6 with a novel bone phenotype.

Costello syndrome (CS) arises from a typically paternally derived germline mutation in the proto-oncogene HRAS, and is considered a rasopathy. CS results in failure-to-thrive, intellectual disabilities, short stature, coarse facial features, skeletal abnormalities, congenital heart disease, and a predisposition for cancer, most commonly embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma (ERMS). The goal of this study was to characterize CS ERMS at the molecular level and to determine how divergent it is from sporadic ERMS.
