Gallium-based liquid metals remain in a liquid state at room temperature and exhibit excellent electrical and thermal conductivities, low viscosity, and low toxicity, making them ideal for creating highly stretchable and conductive composites suitable for flexible electronic devices. Despite these benefits, conventional single-layer liquid metal composites face challenges, such as liquid metal leakage during deformation (e.g.

The main goal of this study was to evaluate the diagnostic value of pain deception using machine learning (ML) analysis with the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 (MMPI-2) scales, considering accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score as diagnostic parameters. : This study was a single-blinded, randomized controlled trial.

However, structural collapse during battery cycling ─ caused by Mn dissolution and the Jahn-Teller effect ─ is a critical disadvantage, reducing cycle retention, particularly at high temperatures. In this study, to solve these critical issues, we introduce Cu(HITP) (CuHITP; HITP = 2,3,6,7,10,11-hexaiminotriphenylene), a conductive two-dimensional (2D) metal-organic framework (MOF) as a surface coating material.

Nevertheless, the potential for enhanced Me sequestration through repeated Fe oxide application and the fundamental mechanisms of this process yet to be systemically investigated. In this study, the means by which repetitive Fe oxide synthesis enhances the immobilization of Cd, Zn, and As was investigated using batch experiments.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFRolling circle amplification (RCA)-derived ultra-long DNA is highly attractive and versatile because of its diverse functionalities conferred by repeated DNA nanostructures. However, magnesium pyrophosphate (MgPPi) crystals, as byproducts of RCA, electrostatically interact with the DNA to form DNA microhybrids and hamper its broad bioapplications, as its large size is unfavorable for cellular uptake and decreases the density of functional DNA nanostructures. In this study, finely tuned synthesis strategies are developed to condense the microhybrids and replace non-functional MgPPi crystals with various functional metal nanostructures by reducing metal ions.
