Introduction: Operationalizing multi-site Community Engagement (CE) Studios to inform a research program is valuable for researchers. We describe the process and outcomes of hosting three CE Studios with Community Experts aged 65 years or older with chronic conditions and care partners of older adults. Experts gave feedback about processes for testing the feasibility, efficacy, effectiveness, and implementation of audio recording clinic visits and sharing recordings with patients who have multimorbidity and their care partners.

Bivalves are increasingly reintroduced to urban environments to enhance water quality through biofiltration, yet their long-term sustainability remains uncertain. Following the restoration of the disused South Docks in Liverpool in the 1980s, natural colonization of mussels rapidly improved dock-basin water quality and supported diverse taxa, including other filter feeders.

Accurately diagnosing Alzheimer's disease (AD) and frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) is challenging due to overlapping symptoms and limitations of current imaging methods. This study investigates the use of [11C]PBB3 PET/CT imaging to visualize tau pathology and improve diagnostic accuracy. Given diagnostic challenges with symptoms and conventional imaging, [11C]PBB3 PET/CT's potential to enhance accuracy was investigated by correlating tau pathology with cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarkers, positron emission tomography (PET), computed tomography (CT), amyloid-beta, and Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE).

The need for maternal medications is a known barrier to breastfeeding. Though most medications are compatible with lactation, healthcare providers use abundant caution, often viewing medications and breastfeeding as mutually exclusive. A dual intervention of an educational webinar and access to a mobile app for lactation pharmacology was used to enhance provider familiarity, confidence, and access to knowledge in medication use during breastfeeding.

Community-Engaged Research (CEnR) plays a crucial role in this process by bridging gaps between research and practice. It effectively generates bi-directional knowledge and communication by engaging patients and communities throughout the translation research process.
