ENDO-ACAB EARLY POSTOPERATIVE PERIOD RESULTS: ANALYSIS AND COMPARISON.

Endoscopic atraumic coronary artery bypass grafting (EndoACAB) is a novel approach in the treatment of ischemic heart disease compared to traditional coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Analyzing the early and late outcome of EndoACAB is very important. EndoACAB was performed in "Tbilisi Heart and Vascular Clinic" for the first time in Georgia in 2015.

COMPARISON OF EARLY POST-OPERATIVE PERIOD OF ENDO-ACAB WITH OFF-PUMP CABG: RETROSPECTIVE STUDY CONDUCTED AT TBILISI HEART AND VASCULAR CLINIC.

Our aim was to compare early post-operative period of Endo-ACAB with OPCABG. We retrospectively studied 760 cases of all patients who had underwent urgent or planned coronary artery bypass grafting at the "Tbilisi Heart and Vascular Clinic" from November 2015 till November 2017. Patients were divided into two group: first group patients who had underwent Endo-ACAB and second group patients who had underwent OPCABG.

Unusual positional compression of the internal carotid artery causes carotid thrombosis and cerebral ischemia.

This article reports an unusual case of positional compression of internal carotid artery resulting in carotid thrombosis and stroke in a 37-year-old man. A patient was operated urgently for a free-floating thrombotic mass in the internal carotid artery. Open thrombectomy was performed in acute phase of stroke for prevention of the recapitulative cerebral thromboembolism.

Simultaneous approach of internal carotid artery revascularization at the base of the skull and coronary arteries bypass without extracorporeal circulation.

The best surgical approach for the treatment of patients with severe cerebral artery disease and simultaneous serious coronary artery disease remains controversial. In this report, we present a case of a 65-year-old man admitted to the hospital with unstable angina. Triple coronary artery obstructive disease and severe right internal carotid artery stenosis in the retroparotid region were diagnosed.

Surgical treatment of the great saphenous vein aneurysm resulting in pulmonary embolization in two patients.

Superficial venous aneurysms of the lower extremities are considered rare and their clinical significance is poorly defined. The pulmonary embolism arising from superficial venous aneurysms has been previously reported. In this article, we report two cases of great saphenous vein aneurysm that resulted in pulmonary embolism.
