Purpose: Since 1995, the Korean Gastric Cancer Association (KGCA) has been periodically conducting nationwide surveys on patients with surgically treated gastric cancer. This study details the results of the survey conducted in 2023.
Materials And Methods: The survey was conducted from March to December 2024 using a standardized case report form.
Riboswitches are RNAs that recognize ligands and regulate gene expression. They are typically located in the untranslated region of bacterial messenger RNA and consist of an aptamer and an expression platform. In this study, we examine the folding pathway of the Vc2 (Vibrio cholerae) riboswitch aptamer domain, which targets the bacterial secondary messenger cyclic-di-GMP.

This study investigated the comparative efficacy and safety of on-demand tegoprazan and proton-pump inhibitor (PPI) therapy in GERD. From six university hospitals in the Daejeon-Chungcheong region, we enrolled patients with GERD who had experienced symptomatic improvement with acid-suppressive therapy and, using a randomization table, randomly allocated these participants to two groups: to receive either tegoprazan 50 mg + esomeprazole placebo or tegoprazan placebo + esomeprazole 20 mg, respectively.

Herein, we for the first time developed cationic phosphonium COFs with high hydroxide conduction even with low ion exchange capacity (IEC). Specifically, we synthesized COFs containing quaternary phosphonium groups as excellent ion transport moieties.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFLight field (LF) displays can offer a quasi-natural three-dimensional (3D) viewing experience by tailoring the four-dimensional light information. However, the primary drawback of conventional LF displays is their limited image quality due to restricted information. To address this limitation, time-multiplexing techniques are employed, but the resulting system configurations are often impractical for achieving compact systems.
