Background: Chanarin-Dorfman syndrome (CDS) is a rare syndromic disease related to an accumulation of triacylglycerol in most organs. The aim of our study was to investigate various organs in a large series of CDS patients.
Results: We report for the first time thyroid function impairment in CDS.
Unlabelled: To demonstrate advantages of using subconjunctival injections of clindamycin in the treatment of toxoplasmic retinchoroiditis.
Methods: A prospective study was conducted in 13 patients with unilateral toxoplasmic retinochoroiditis. All cases were treated with subconjunctival injections of clindamycin in association with general corticosteroïds.
Purpose: A 9 year-old child demonstrated symptomatic exudative vitreoretinopathy. The other family members were examined to detect funduscopic changes suggestive of the disease.
Methods: A complete ocular examination was performed including fundus biomicroscopic examination and fluorescein angiography.
