The Cryogenic Underground Observatory for Rare Events (CUORE) is a detector array comprised by 988 5 cm×5 cm×5 cm TeO_{2} crystals held below 20 mK, primarily searching for neutrinoless double-beta decay in ^{130}Te. Unprecedented in size among cryogenic calorimetric experiments, CUORE provides a promising setting for the study of exotic throughgoing particles. Using the first tonne year of CUORE's exposure, we perform a search for hypothesized fractionally charged particles (FCPs), which are well-motivated by various standard model extensions and would have suppressed interactions with matter.

Objective: To present our experience with off-label MED-EL Bonebridge implantation in pediatric patients younger than 12 years of age and compare outcomes to pediatric patients 12 years and older.
Methods: Pediatric patients who underwent Bonebridge implantation were included in a retrospective cohort study and were categorized by off-label use (<12 years) and ≥12 years at time of bone conduction implantation (BCI). Hearing outcomes were collected after implant activation, which was typically 4-8 weeks post-implantation.
This review provides a synopsis of current injury patterns, potential mechanisms, and off-ice exercise prevention considerations as the sport of figure skating evolves. The lifetime prevalence of injury for all skaters is estimated to be 79.5%, with the most common sites being spine and lower extremity.

The most common presentation of a congenital cholesteatoma is that of an asymptomatic pearly white mass in the anterosuperior quadrant of the tympanic cavity. The etiology of congenital cholesteatoma has been debated at length, with the leading theory being the epithelial rest theory.
