Background: As an antioxidant, vitamin E (VitE) may benefit the erythrocytes by protecting glutathione from oxidation by free radicals and peroxide-generating processes.

Methods: We followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses statement guidelines when reporting this systematic review. We searched 6 electronic databases (PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library) until May 8, 2022.

Anaerobic sequencing batch reactors and its influencing factors: an overview.

Anaerobic sequencing batch reactors (ASBR) operate in four cyclic steps: feed, reaction, settling and discharge. ASBRs allow typical biological anaerobic metabolism from substrate consumption to methane and carbon dioxide production. Microorganisms in an ASBR are exposed to variable substrate concentrations over the duration of the cycle, resulting in high rates of substrate conversion and efficient biomass flocculation and settling.

A novel eco-friendly approach for textile sludge.

Solid waste management is a very serious problem in both human settlements and industrial establishments. In such cirumstances, management of sludge in textile industry has now become a burning issue due to its surplus volume and undesired characteristics. In such grim scenario, an attempt has been made to effectively dispose of the sludge generated in the treatment units of the textile sectors of Tirupur (India).
