Introduction And Importance: Rapunzel syndrome is a rare condition that results from trichotillomania (compulsive hair pulling) and trichophagia (hair eating), causing a trichobezoar (hairball) to form This syndrome typically affects young females with psychiatric conditions and presents with symptoms like chronic abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and malnutrition. The condition is often diagnosed late, leading to serious gastrointestinal complications.

Case Presentation: A 19-year-old female from a rural community presented with chronic abdominal pain, vomiting, and nutritional deficiencies, including scaly skin and koilonychia.

Immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4)-related disease is a rare immune-mediated fibro-inflammatory disorder with many clinical manifestations. Most commonly affected sites include the pancreas, salivary glands, kidneys, lachrymal glands, biliary tree, aorta and retroperitoneum; testicular involvement is a rare entity. This report describes a man in his 20s who presented with a persistent painless mass in his left testis.

Objective: An inability to correctly perceive chemosensory stimuli can lead to a poor quality of life. Such defects can be concomitant with excess alcohol consumption, but a large-scale cohort study linking these effects is lacking. This study aimed to investigate the impact of chronic alcohol consumption on chemosensory function by analyzing data from the NHANES 2013-2014, involving 395 participants categorized by alcohol intake behavior: 219 no-intake, 136 light-intake, and 40 risky-intake groups.
