Objective: Care partners play a vital role in supporting persons living with dementia (PLWD) in using medical services. We conducted a meta-synthesis to explore care partner perspectives of ED care for PLWD, as well as healthcare provider (HCP) perceptions of care partner roles within the ED, to identify care gaps and facilitators across the ED continuum.
Methods: MEDLINE, PsycINFO and Embase databases were searched from inception to 8 May 2023.
Slip, trip, and fall (STF) accidents cause high rates of absence from work in many companies. During the 2022 reporting period, the German Social Accident Insurance recorded 165,420 STF accidents, of which 12 were fatal and 2485 led to disability pensions. Particularly in the traffic, transport and logistics sector, STF accidents are the most frequently reported occupational accidents.

Objective: To evaluate early intervention with and prolonging the dosing interval for guselkumab, a p19 subunit-targeted interleukin (IL)-23 inhibitor, in patients with moderate to severe psoriasis.
Design, Setting, And Participants: The GUIDE clinical trial is an ongoing phase 3b, randomized, double-blinded trial conducted across 80 centers in Germany and France comprising 3 parts evaluating the impact of early disease intervention, prolonged dosing interval, and maintenance of response following treatment withdrawal among adults with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.
Targeted protein degradation (TPD) modulates protein function beyond inhibition of enzyme activity or protein-protein interactions. Most degraders function by proximity induction, and directly bridge an E3 ligase with the target to be degraded. However, many proteins might not be addressable via proximity-based degraders, and other challenges, such as resistance acquisition, exist.

To closely monitor SARS-CoV-2 evolution and resulting variants at genomic-level, an innovative pipeline termed SARSeq was developed in Austria.AimWe discuss technical aspects of the SARSeq pipeline, describe its performance and present noteworthy results it enabled during the pandemic in Austria.
