Thermally stable biopolymer composites based on poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) modified with linear aliphatic polyurethanes - preparation and properties.

Purpose: Poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) (P3HB) is a biopolymer, but storing products from P3HB causes the deterioration of their properties leading to their brittleness. P3HB has also low thermal stability. Its melting point almost equals its degradation temperature.

Various overoxidized poly(1-pyrrole) (PPy), poly(-methylpyrrole) (PMePy) or poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) membranes incorporated into an acrylate-based solid polymer electrolyte matrix (SPE) were directly electrosynthesized by a two-step procedure. The aim was to extend and improve fundamental properties of pure SPE materials. The polymer matrix is based on the cross-linking of glycerol propoxylate (1PO/OH) triacrylate (GPTA) with poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate (PEGDA) and lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (LiTFSI) as a conducting salt.

Experiences of women living in Hungary seeking a medical abortion online.

Objective: The aim of the study was to analyse the characteristics and experiences of women living in Hungary who accessed a medical abortion through the telemedical service Women on Web.

Methods: We examined the characteristics and experiences of 136 women who requested a medical abortion from Women on Web between June 2013 and February 2017. The main outcome measures were acceptability and satisfaction with the service.

Hydatid Disease of the Femur Treated with a Total Femoral Replacement: A Case Report.

Case: A thirty-one-year-old woman presented with symptoms of worsening left knee and thigh pain. Radiographs and magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated extensive lytic and cystic changes throughout the femur. A biopsy demonstrated necrosis, chronic granulomatous inflammation, and laminations suggestive of an echinococcal cyst.
