[Pathogenic mechanisms of the wound process in persistent deformities of the larynx and trachea].

The examination of 67 patients with persistent deformities of the larynx and trachea has revealed mixed aerobic-anaerobic flora affecting healing of postoperative laryngeal wounds as it gives rise to chronic inflammatory infiltration, tissue dystrophy and deteriorates hemocirculation. The above data will be helpful in development indications and contraindications for various reconstructive operations.
