Objective: To evaluate the mid-term results of endovascular revascularization of the lower extremities through primary retrograde distal approach.

Material And Methods: We prospectively analyzed the mid-term results of 74 endovascular surgeries via primary retrograde distal approach in 69 patients with lower extremity ischemia. Mean age of patients was 68.

In the face of rapidly accumulating genomic data, our ability to accurately predict key mature RNA properties that underlie transcript function and regulation remains limited. Pre-trained genomic foundation models offer an avenue to adapt learned RNA representations to biological prediction tasks. However, existing genomic foundation models are trained using strategies borrowed from textual or visual domains that do not leverage biological domain knowledge.

Follicular lymphoma (FL) exhibits considerable variability in biological features and clinical trajectories across patients. To dissect the diversity of FL, we utilized a Bernoulli mixture model to identify genetic subtypes in 713 pre-treatment tumor tissue samples. Our analysis revealed the existence of five subtypes with unique genetic profiles that correlated with clinicopathological characteristics.

Alternative splicing is an essential mechanism for diversifying proteins, in which mature RNA isoforms produce proteins with potentially distinct functions. Two major challenges in characterizing the cellular function of isoforms are the lack of experimental methods to specifically and efficiently modulate isoform expression and computational tools for complex experimental design. To address these gaps, we developed and methodically tested a strategy which pairs the RNA-targeting CRISPR/Cas13d system with guide RNAs that span exon-exon junctions in the mature RNA.
