Introduction: Primary care providers or clinicians (PCPs) have the potential to assist dermatologists in screening patients at risk for skin cancer, but require training to appropriately identify higher-risk patients, perform skin checks, recognize and biopsy concerning lesions, interpret pathology results, document the exam, and bill for the service. Very few validated dermatology training programs exist for PCPs and those that are available focus primarily on one emphasis area, which results in variable efficacy and single-topic limited scope.
Methods: We have created a free, online, continuing education program (Melanoma Toolkit for Early Detection, MTED) that allows learners to choose from a variety of multimedia tools (image recognition, videos, written material, in-person seminars, self-tests, etc.

Introduction: Biomarkers indicative of sperm mobility in broiler breeders would provide the ability to screen for fertility potential, with a positive correlation established between sperm mobility and fertilization potential. This study characterized the lipidome of seminal plasma (SP), sperm cell (SC), and whole semen (WS) isolated from broiler breeder roosters with different sperm mobility phenotypes across key timepoints of the semen production cycle.
Methods: WS samples were collected from five high mobility roosters and five low mobility roosters during early, mid, and late semen production, with SP separated from SC by centrifugation.

This study aimed to identify qualitative aspects of small animal veterinary internship applications that are associated with relative intern performance. This study took place with data collected on small animal interns from the 2015-2016, 2016-2017, and 2017-2018 intern classes from four different institutions. Applicants were divided into top-performers and bottom-performers by sorting the calculated overall scores from highest to lowest, labeling the top half of interns as "top-performers," and the lower half of interns as "bottom-performers.
