Importance: Paraesophageal hernias can cause severe limitations in quality of life and life-threatening complications. Even though minimally invasive paraesophageal hernia repair (MIS-PEHR) is safe and effective, anatomic recurrence rates remain notoriously high. Retrospective data suggest that suturing the stomach to the anterior abdominal wall after repair-an anterior gastropexy-may reduce recurrence, but this adjunct is currently not the standard of care.

Methods: A retrospective review at a single quaternary referral center hospital of adult patients who underwent DLI-R over a 5-year period and abdominal computerized tomography (CT) imaging performed within 1-year for any indication postoperatively was conducted.
T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma (T-ALL/LBL) and Burkitt lymphoma (BL) are uncommon, highly aggressive diseases originating either from immature precursor T cells or from mature B cells in BL. We retrospectively analyzed the outcome of an early autologous and/or allogeneic stem cell transplantation (SCT) concept in 28 patients with advanced stage T-ALL/LBL and BL after three to four remission induction/consolidation chemotherapy cycles. Considering only patients in first complete remission (CR), the 5-year overall survival (OS) and event-free survival (EFS) was 91% in patients with BL and 73% in patients with T-ALL/LBL with a 5-year relapse incidence (RI) of 9% in patients with BL and 27% in patients with T-ALL/LBL.

Reabstracted data from patient charts was compared to ICD-10-CA codes and measures of validity were calculated with 95% confidence intervals. A total of 1068 procedures were identified.

Design: A quasi-experimental study using state administrative SNAP and earnings data to compare outcomes for SNAP participants before and after the time limit went into effect.
Participants: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program participants in the study cohorts in Colorado, Missouri, and Pennsylvania (N = 153,599).
