An easy method is proposed to prepare poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP) and poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNiPAAm) nanogels with sizes less than 100 nm. The underlying principle is to prepare dilute polymer solutions in acetone/water mixtures where acetone acts to break tridimensional structure of water hence disrupting the H-bonds bridging polymer coils causing separation and shrinkage in their sizes. Irradiation of these solutions by gamma-rays directly leads to the formation of intramolecular crosslinks within the coils resulting with nanogels with sizes smaller than precursor coils.

However, the high oxygen permeability of PLA films significantly limits their use. Therefore, this study, it was aimed to improve the oxygen barrier properties of PLA films without adversely affecting the mechanical and water vapor barrier properties.

Samples were characterized by FTIR, UV-vis, NMR, XRD, TGA, SEM, XPS, DLS, and TEM. SEM images showed highly oriented microforms reported for the first time for Pull, because of the supramolecular self-assembling behavior of Pull chains.

A viral pneumonia rapidly spread from Wuhan, China to all countries in late 2019. In February 2020, WHO named as Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and declared the pandemic on March 11, 2020. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, Ministry of Health of Republic of Turkey and international institutions have published documents defining hygiene rules.

In this study, we investigated the role of religiosity in satisfaction with life in a sample of Turkish gay men. A one-way analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) revealed that the religiosity had a significant effect on life satisfaction of gay men. Extrinsically religious gay men displayed significantly higher life satisfaction scores than both intrinsically religious and nonreligious gay men.

Materials And Methods: We retrospectively examined the 18F-FDG PET/CT images of 50 unknown primary malignancy patients. The malignancy of the lesions with increased 18F-FDG uptake on PET images was defined by interpreting the nondiagnostic CT images that were obtained with the PET study.
Distal radius fractures are the most common fractures in the elderly, yet the treatment is controversial and still debated in the literature. Twenty four patients aged older than sixty with distal radial fractures were treated by dorsal nail plate. We compared them with twenty four similar matched patients treated by percutaneous Kirschner wiring surgical method.

Currently, there is no consensus on the appropriate approach for the management of these cases. Thyroid ultrasound, scintigraphy and fine-needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) are suggested to exclude malignant thyroid lesions.

Objective: We aimed to evaluate the role of gated myocardial perfusion SPECT (MPS) and to investigate whether only the invasive coronary angiography (CAG) is sufficient in the diagnosis of the coronary artery disease (CAD) in women.
Material And Methods: Sixty-four women (62±10 years) with known CAD were included in this study. They had echocardiography (ECHO), stress/rest gated MPS and invasive CAG.
Aim: To evaluate the relationship between gallbladder (GB) motor function and H pylori infection in the stomach.
Methods: All cases (86) underwent the 14C urea breath test (UBT). 14C-UBT was found as positive in 58 and negative in 28 dyspeptic patients.
