GLK (MAP4K3) activates PKCθ-IKKβ axis in T-cell activation and induces IL-17A-mediated autoimmune diseases. Attenuation of Treg differentiation and function by GLK could also contribute to autoimmune diseases. We analyzed the roles of GLK and IKKβ in Treg differentiation and function using T-cell-specific GLK transgenic mice and IKKβ conditional knockout mice.

C5a, a complement activation end product, is a strong inflammatory cell stimulator and can influence the behavior of T cells and dendritic cells. This study examined the etiology-disease relationship and significance of auto-antibody and C5a with short-term remission.

The only structural protein of viral capsid, Cap has become the major target for development of PCV2 subunit vaccines. The purpose of this study is to express Cap of PCV2 using a recombinant pseudorabies virus (PRV) that is gE gene deficient, which is a widely used PRV marker vaccine.
