Impact of Pressure on Metavalent Bonding in BiTe influencing Electronic Topological Transitions.

BiTe, a member of the (Bi2)m(Bi2Te3)n homologous series, possesses natural van der Waals-like heterostructure with a Bi2 bilayer sandwiched between the two [Te-Bi-Te-Bi-Te] quintuple layers. BiTe exhibits both the quantum states of weak topological and topological crystalline insulators, making it a dual topological insulator and a suitable candidate for spintronics, quantum computing and thermoelectrics. Herein, we demonstrate that the chemical bonding in BiTe is to be metavalent, which plays a significant role in the pressure dependent change in the topology of the electronic structure Fermi surface.

Sodium vanadates doped boron phosphorus graphene quantum dots: A novel nanosensor for the fluorescence detection of rutin.

Rutin, a naturally occurring flavonoid compound, possesses notable antioxidant properties along with anti-inflammatory and antiviral effects. This research aimed to improve the selectivity and high fluorescence behavior of novel nanomaterial BPGQDs@NaV, which was synthesized by hydrothermal methods. Through comprehensive characterization utilizing TEM, SEM, XRD, EDS, FT-IR, UV-Vis, TCS-PC, and XPS techniques, the prepared BPGQDs, NaV, and BPGQDs@NaV were thoroughly examined.

Highly Sensitive and Selective Fluorescence and Smartphone-Based Sensor for Detection of Rutin Using Boron Nitrogen Co-doped Graphene Quantum Dots.

This research explores the fluorescence properties and photostability of boron nitrogen co-doped graphene quantum dots (BN-GQDs), evaluating their effectiveness as sensors for rutin (RU). BN-GQDs are biocompatible and exhibit notable absorbance and fluorescence characteristics, making them suitable for sensing applications. The study utilized various analytical techniques to investigate the chemical composition, structure, morphology, optical attributes, elemental composition, and particle size of BN-GQDs.

Recent Advances in Nanomaterials Based Optical Sensors for the Detection of Melatonin and Serotonin.

In this review paper we discussed the detection of melatonin and serotonin by using various optical methods. Melatonin and serotonin are very necessary body hormones these are also called neuroregulatory hormones secreted by pineal gland in brain by pinealocytes and shape of pineal gland is cone like. Sensitive detection of melatonin and serotonin in pharmacological samples and human serum is crucial for human beings, lots of research publications available in literature for melatonin and serotonin and we overviewed these papers.
