We studied the phase change and resistive switching characteristics of copper oxide (CuO) films through post-thermal annealing. This investigation aimed to assess the material's potential for a variety of electrical devices, exploring its versatility in electronic applications. The CuO films deposited by RF magnetron sputtering were annealed at 300, 500, and 700 °C in ambient air for 4 min by rapid thermal annealing (RTA) method, and then it was confirmed that the structural phase change from CuO to CuO occurred with increasing annealing temperature.

An artificial muscle actuator resolves practical engineering problems in compact wearable devices, which are limited to conventional actuators such as electromagnetic actuators. Abstracting the fundamental advantages of an artificial muscle actuator provides a small-scale, high-power actuating system with a sensing capability for developing varifocal augmented reality glasses and naturally fit haptic gloves. Here, we design a shape memory alloy-based lightweight and high-power artificial muscle actuator, the so-called compliant amplified shape memory alloy actuator.

This article studies the supramolecular assembly behavior of a Zn-trisporphyrin conjugate containing a triphenylamine core () with bridging -donor ligands using the UV-vis spectrophotometric titration method at micromolar concentrations. Our results show that pyridine, a non-bridging ligand, formed a 3:1 open complex with . The corresponding binding constant was estimated to be (2.

Copula-Based Redundancy Analysis.

Multivariate Behav Res

December 2022

Extended Redundancy Analysis (ERA) has recently been developed and widely applied to investigate component regression models. In this paper, we propose Copula-based Redundancy Analysis (CRA) to improve the performance of regression-based ERA. Our simulation results indicate that CRA is significantly superior to the regression-based ERA.

Since its discovery almost 70 years ago, the hologram has been considered to reproduce the most realistic three dimensional images without visual side effects. Holographic video has been extensively researched for commercialization, since Benton et al. at MIT Media Lab developed the first holographic video systems in 1990.

Bacillus anthracis has four plasmid possible virulence genotypes: pXO1+/pXO2+, pXO1+/pXO2-, pXO1-/pXO2+ or pXO1-/pXO2-. Due to the lack of a specific chromosomal marker for B. anthracis, differentiation of the pXO1-/pXO2- form of B.
