A 2-year-old, spayed female, domestic shorthair cat was presented in compensated hypovolemic shock after 24 h of anorexia, vomiting, and lethargy. An enterotomy had been performed at 9 mo of age to remove a foreign body. Due to inconclusive findings on abdominal imaging, an exploratory laparotomy was done.

A 4-month-old, 7 kg, intact male, Bernese mountain dog was presented for obstructive struvite ureterolithiasis. Multiple urethroliths, ureteroliths, and urocystoliths were present. Based on an abdominal ultrasound, there was severe left hydronephrosis and hydroureter from distal ureterolith obstruction, just proximal to the vesicoureteral junction.

An adult female domestic shorthair cat developed myoclonus, muscle rigidity, and hypersensitivity of the hind limbs and tail with urinary retention following neuraxial administration of morphine. Myoclonic contractions resolved following treatment with midazolam and a urinary catheter was placed until normal micturition returned. The cat was clinically normal 36 hours after neuraxial morphine injection.
