Absolute calorimeter for measuring low-energy outputs from CO2 lasers.

This paper describes the construction of a calibrated energy measuring device for pulsed CO(2) lasers of low output energy. An aluminium disk of low thermal capacity has been used for the detection of laser radiation. An Al(2)O(3) layer has been electrolytically deposited on the aluminium disks.
