Objective: To investigate the clinical features, pathological phenotype, treatment and prognosis of idiopathic multicenter Castleman disease (iMCD)in children.
Methods: From January 2017 to September 2023, basic information, laboratory tests, treatment and prognosis of children diagnosed with iMCD who attended Beijing Children's Hospital of Capital Medical University were collected.
Results: A total of 9 children were enrolled, with a median age of onset of median 11 (2-15) years, 6 males and 3 female.
Background: Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) is a rare myeloid precursor cell inflammatory neoplasia, which agonizes, maims, and even kills patients. Although clinical outcomes have steadily improved over the past decades, the progression/relapse rate of LCH remains high. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the prognostic value of the pre-treatment metabolism parameters of baseline F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (F‑FDG PET/CT) in children with LCH.

The most common cause is Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection. MHC class I polypeptide-related sequence B (MICB) is a membrane protein inducibly expressed upon cellular stress, viral infection, or malignant transformation, thus marking these cells for clearance through natural killer group 2 member D-positive lymphocytes.

Due to the limited accuracies of the existing positioning and navigation (P&N) technologies and the operational errors accumulated within the robot P&N process, however, most of the current robots are not able to fulfill such high-precision operations. To address these practical issues, we propose, for the first time (to the best of our knowledge), to combine the binocular vision and Quick Response (QR) code identification techniques together to improve the robot P&N accuracies, and then construct an autonomous library robot for high-precision BAR operations.
